My hamster has LONG NAILS..!!?

Not good with Hamsters but Ive had Guinea Pigs and currently Rats. What ive done was just buy a filer and get a towel (small) and rap it around him and file away. Look at the nails first make sure you see the pink (pink is blood)and white (or what ever the nail color is). File down before the pink (try to make it round, not as sharp then), that way you dont have to spend a lot on toys (sand paper toys are bad anyways) and its cleaner.
