How much time in jail will he do?

My bf is on probation for transporting!two hours ago I got a call from him telling me he had gotten arrested for robbing a hamburgers stand! I dont know the exact details but I found a hammer inside the car!do you think he did the robbery with a hammer?does anybody know how much time he wiil be facing in jail?
