Issue Getting Music for My Ipod?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a site where I could convert multiple videos into the MP3 format. The one site I use (http://www.video2mp3.net/) allows me to grab Youtube videos and convert them into an MP3 format so I can listen to the music on my ipod. I would buy the songs that I want but I'm looking into getting over 100 songs, and at $9.99 an album i'm be out around $100. I'm not being lazy, I'm only asking if there's an easier way. I'm not cheap either, I just think it's highway robbery to charge so much for X songs.
